Doing that will cost money and, as of now, there’s no getting around that. You just won’t be able to awaken your gems. It may take you several years to get where they are now, but you’ll get there eventually. And if they’re willing to carry you, then you’ll benefit from the loot that drops and eventually be able to contribute. You might not be able to survive long in Hell 3, but they sure can. Let the people that spent money on the game help you out. Socialize and make friends with other people. Just realize that, as an F2P player, you will never be at the top of any charts and learn to be okay with that. You’ll constantly run into roadblocks (such a Hell Levels beating you to a pulp if your CR’s not high enough) that will make you want to whip out your wallet to overcome them. You’re forced to group with other people so that you can see how much better they are since they decided to spend money on stuff. Diablo Immortal is designed in such a way as to break you down psychologically so that you’ll spend money. 1 Accept the fact that you will never be top dog on your server I am by no means the greatest Diablo Immortal player that ever lived. I once was a Shadow, but due to my clan affiliation, I am currently enjoying the life of an Immortal. As it currently stands, my monk is sitting at Paragon Level 121 (3 levels above the server cap), Battle Pass 57 (capped for the week), with a CR of 2404 and a Resonance of 330. I am a daytime player and typically putz around in Diablo Immortal during my work shift while things are slow.
People who want to do well, but don’t want to spend any money on the experience.īefore I get into that, a bit about my gameself: This is for you reading this that are like me, just people that enjoy the game for what it is despite its flaws. Nor is it for you naysayers that think Diablo Immortal is the worst thing that has ever happened. This isn’t a post meant for you high rollers out there with deep pockets that just throw money at the game. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with it and I have never spent a dime. I have been playing the game since shortly after it launched. While plenty of people hate this game with a vocal passion, there are just as many of us that really enjoy our time with it. When it comes to playing games, my philosophy is: do what you enjoy and try not to yuck someone else’s yum.
